3D Group is proud to serve so many automotive locksmiths from Europe and across the globe, and we will be proud to continue this service even after Brexit. Some things will change, but we will continue to adapt and cater to our customer's needs, whatever the outcome and wherever they are, deal or no deal. Please read the list below to see what we feel may change due to us leaving the European Union:
● We are making website and software changes to enable faster dispatch to our EU customers
● Although we are doing our best to prepare for the transition period, there may be some unforeseen regulatory issues that might cause disruptions in the initial weeks after Brexit, but we endeavour to resolve these as swiftly as possible
● Our Shipping partners will be regularly contacted throughout December to make sure our exports and deliveries remain unaffected
● We currently ship to many countries that require commercial invoices, so we understand what changes we need to make during Brexit in order to keep disruptions to a minimum. It is highly likely that Commercial invoices will now also be required for all UK exports, even if they are tariff-free
● Port delays are inevitable, but we have contingencies in place to keep our operations running smoothly. We are currently increasing stock levels to cover any delays and working closely with HMRC and port authorities to minimise shipping times
● Price changes – If duty is to be paid on EU imports, you will find genuine dealer products. Silca, JMA and Keyline products may go up in price over time. These price increases will only be minimal as import duty generally is around 0.5 - 2%, and our suppliers are looking at their regular increases of between 3-5%.
● Delivery prices are expected to stay the same, but we will inform you of any changes.
