Continued unprecedented demand for DPD services impacts deliveries in limited areas, whilst snow affects deliveries in the South and Southeast
The industrial action at Royal Mail has impacted the entire industry and means the whole logistics industry continues to see unprecedented demand for DPD services. In response to this and the high volume of parcels DPD is still seeing within the network, they have introduced a number of new operational measures.
These measures include the temporary restriction of deliveries to a limited number of postcode areas. This equates to approximately 5% of all postcodes nationally.
YOUR 3D GROUP ORDERS WILL BE AFFECTED
We're not quite past the strike action yet! Fingers crossed, 2023 brings good news for Royal Mail users.
Until then, we're sorry to advise that collections and deliveries will be affected on the dates below.
WHEN ARE THE ROYAL MAIL STRIKES?
FRIDAY 23RD OF DECEMBER
SATURDAY 24TH OF DECEMBER
Royal Mail has said letters/parcels will not be delivered on strike days, nor will there be any collections from the 3D Group warehouse.
ADVICE WE CAN OFFER
- Order with DPD courier service for the prompt delivery of your orders! Stock up on your essentials this week and spend only £100 for free next-day DPD delivery!
- Order items as early as possible in advance of the strike dates to avoid delays to the arrival of your order.
- Choose one of our courier services, such as DPD or FedEx UK.
- Bulk your smaller orders into larger orders to avoid fees!
Unfortunately, the Royal Mail strikes have caused a backlog across the postal network. Therefore, we cannot assure you that your parcels ordered with a different courier option will arrive on time.
We do, however, suggest choosing DPD Next Day courier service.
