The Xhorse MB Power Adapter is designed to assist in Mercedes key programming using the VVDI MB Tool. The adapter has many features including extracting the password for the popular C-Class (W204) and the E-Class (W207) in 18 mins, which is down from from 2 1/2 hours if you attempt this procedure without this adapter! Also for lost keys on W216 and W164 vehicles after 2009, it is nessary to remove and plug in the IR reader upto 500 times into the EIS to read the data acquistion but this tool removes this step, allowing things to run more smoothly. The power adapter also supports gateway emulation function and you can use this tool directly through OBD on M Class (W164), CLK (W209) and E Class (W211) using XHorse Cables (XHC1)
