The key number is for cutting a key to the locks on the car via a key cutting machine.
The response time can be between 1 hour to 4 hours Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. We do have to warn you in the event of a system failure or busy periods that codes can take up to 24 hours and cannot be cancelled before this time.
NOTE:
Once ordered codes cannot be cancelled until the above alotted time has passed.
What we require:
In order to process this request for codes (VAUXHALL, RENAULT and DACIA) WE REQUIRE THE SECOND PAGE OF THE LOGBOOK, CUSTOMER’S PHOTO ID AND A MATCHING UTILITY BILL. If this is a new keeper and they do not yet have a v5 form with their name on they will have to fill out the V5C new keeper’s details and the same also applies if they have changed address or surname. If the vehicle is registered under a leasing or auction company we will need a signed company letterhead as well as a photo ID of the signee along with the second page of the V5. Please see the attached for the acceptable photo examples. All documents will all need to be sent to our codes email within 2 hours of the initial request, otherwise the codes will be cancelled and you will be required to reapply once you have all of the required documentation available.
THE ABOVE IS A RESULT OF SECURITY BREACHES IN RECENT MONTHS THAT HAVE BEEN REPORTED BY THESE MANUFACTURERS. THE MANUFACTURERS WILL BE INVESTIGATING DEALERSHIPS/SUPPLIERS THAT ARE NOT ASKING FOR THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS SO PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY CODE REQUESTS THAT DO NOT MEET THE ABOVE GUIDELINES.
