Please note: To safely remove the battery cover, hold the remote case in your palm with the key ring end facing your fingers. Pinch the two release buttons and gently lift the top edge of the cover slightly. Then, gently push the battery cover from the opposite end to disengage the hooks underneath the cover. It should then be able to be easily removed

PLEASE TAKE CARE WHEN REMOVING THE REMOTE COVER TO ACCESS THE EMERGENCY BLADE - THE COVER MAY BECOME PERMANENTLY DAMAGED IF NOT REMOVED GENTLY. ALSO BEWARE OF THREE TYPES OF INTELLIGENT/PROXIMITY REMOTES. SEE ALSO FOR5 or FOR8
